KOREA - AMERICA ASSOCIATION

The object of the Association shall be to promote friendship and understanding between the peoples of the Republic of Korea
and of the United States of America and to strengthen cultural, economic and other relations between the two countries.

The KAA members are invited to various events hosted by the association, such as lecture meetings, seminars, concerts, tours to U.S. military bases and ships, and other activities.
In most cases, members may bring their family and friends to these events. Attending lecture meetings and seminars enables members to grasp the importance and reality of the issues that exist between Korea and the United States as well as to seek and suggest their solutions. Members can also gain a better understanding of the other country’s culture by participating in various social and cultural events.

An application for membership must be submitted to the Association at the recommendation of current 2 members of the association. A filed application shall be processed for appropriate steps and final membership approval.
